A hand drawn revision resource I created for my Year 11 Middle set to help them remember key facts about the novel. I've used this A4 for the pupils but it was created A3 (could use in a classroom display perhaps). Analysis of mood and atmosphere in 'The Dead Travel Fast' extract of Dracula. Worksheet is simply a copy of the extract and comprehension questions. PowerPoint presentation was created to help my class think about setting, mood and atmosphere for Eduqas GCSE English Language Component 1. Grade 5 criteria are a rough estimation only. There is no need to have read the whole book - this was used as a standalone lesson with Year 10.

A collection of contextual information on Othello, a few suggestions for ways in with themes, characters etc. Easily adapted for lower or higher ability. Some can be missed out completely - this was created for low ability Year 9s. They were used over a course of several lessons as starters or printed A3 for group work or memory games. Plan for essay on jealousy. Plan for essay comparing Act 5 Scene 2 with Duffy's Human Interest poem.

A poster I have designed based on various resources that try to improve vocabulary. We are using them inside pupils' SPAG books (separate exercise books just for SPAG rules and work that all pupils have as basic equipment), so they can refer to them in any lesson.
