The present resource is the culmination of countless hours of transcription, translation and word analysis. To produce the AQA GCSE French Top 500 Words list, all AQA GCSE French past papers were transcribed (including listening transcripts, reading texts, and speaking and written stimuli) from 2010-2019, to produce a body of over 65,000 words from more than 65 separate exam scripts. The resulting body of words were then analysed for frequency, translated into English, and organised by word type.Includes separate lists of the top verbs, nouns, adjectives and adverbs, as well as 20 Quizlet sets for revision purposes. Also includes top “chunks”, with skill and tier analysis.
