I created this PowerPoint and mini topic for my Year 4 class. It covers a number of subjects and is generally fun to teach. It can easily be spread over a half term and includes a number of writing, geography and art tasks. The PowerPoint includes a number of Youtube clips and pictures. Note that one slide will need amending for your particular part of the country. It is linked to when the Beatles played in Oldham, however I am sure they played in virtually every town so I'm sure you won't have a problem finding a relevant picture. The overview should give you an idea of how to spread out each task in the PowerPoint.
