Whole primary school writing objectives for all genres of writing taught through a primary school. It includes an overview of the genres taught in each year group as well as each year group’s genres objectives. It shows progression of writing throughout each year group for each genre and can be used as your whole year’s planning for writing. This is my first draft of this document so will put an updated version on in September when we have used it for a year.

These style of questions last for 1 week so that the repetition can help the concepts go into the children’s long term memory. The Terrific Tens are progressive throughout the term and skills are built on each week.

This resource is suitable for Year 3 pupils. It contains planning and some activities linked to Deadly 60 animals and Rainforest topics. My year 3 class absolutely loved this topic and many of the activities were done physically without any resources and outside.

This resource is the next 20 days worth of Terrific Tens. Each Ten has five questions to model. The next five, are repeated to encourage independence and the repetition helps the concepts to be embedded. Each Terrific Ten is repeated with different numbers for five days. These questions are in line with White Rose scheme of work. I use this at the start of each lesson. I add in some questions that I know my class have struggles with.

These are an excellent way to start your maths lessons. They follow the White Rose Scheme of work and aim to embed learning of Maths skills using repetition. Each sheet has 10 questions. These are split into two lots of 5, each 5 is repeated so that you can model the first 5 then the pupils can practice the second 5. This resource is 30 weeks of spellings covering the spellings from the National Curriculum spelling lists. They are differentiated into three groups.

This resource is for Year 6. A practical resource that supports the revision of reading. These activities require the pupils to work in groups to read the poem and discuss the evidence to support the order in which they should come. The texts are vocabulary rich and the pupils are required to use retrieval skills and inference to solve them.

All the resources you need to deliver a maths project that include various maths concepts, good for after SAT’s or the beginning of the year. Pupils plan and create a zoo. Different problems occur. Ideal for Year 6 but can be changed to suit other year groups.

We have started teaching all subjects in topics. In science we had to learn about rocks and soils. Here are some of the resources and all of the planning for this topic which we called Rock On! The children absolutely loved it.

Year 3 have completed a topic called Deadly 60 where we looked at life and environmental factors of the Rainforests. They used this knowledge to plan and walk through adventure stories. They absolutely loved it and the progress - particularly in writing - was massive. Here is the planning and some resources.

They are in line with the White Rose scheme of work.

This resource is 3 weeks worth of Guided Spelling sessions. I have decided to try to teach spellings in a short guided lesson every day as our spelling results needed a boost. Each day the pupils are in differentiated groups and work with an adult at least twice a week. Each day the group reads through the information and then completes the task. This resource is for Year 3 children following the new Curriculum.

This resource has the first 10 Terrific Tens for the Year 5 Maths curriculum. Each day the pupils have a set to work on and the skills needed are repeated for the whole week in order to embed the skill. Can be used as a lesson starter. I let the pupils complete the first 5, then go through them as a class, then the pupils complete the second 5 as they repeat skills. With this resource the pupils complete 5 skills per week and practise each skill 10 times during the week.

Maths starter. Each day present the pupils with a slide containing 6 maths questions, in line with the National Curriculum for Year 3. These questions get progressively more difficult but use repetition to embed the learning. The slides conatin a complete mix of all the objectives.
