2D and 3D Shape Sensory Stories

(0)
These sensory stories are created for students who benefit from a sensory and hands on approach for learning. Each story introduces simple 2D and 3D shapes through a multi-sensory, highly engaging approach. Each part of the story focuses on a different shape and is paired with sensory experiences such as touch, movement, sound or simple actions to help students explore and recognise the shapes in a meaningful way. The aim of the stories are to support early mathematical awareness, attention and engagement. The predictable structure, repetition and sensory elements help make the learning accessible and enjoyable for learners with complex needs.
