Here is a set of three differentiated worksheets on melting and boiling points aimed at a year 7 class. There is an easier version, a medium version and a more difficult version. These are best in printed in colour due of the visual temperature scale. I hope it helps!

Can be used for playing dominos (Justify why words link), or kept on the table as key words for doing extended writing, or for making crossword clues, or you can use class set of dictionaries to make sure they all know all of the meanings. Also I play word wall (from the Lottery game show) where I ask which word means '_____' and they must find the right card and hold it up, not just shout out the answer, this helps students learn spellings and recognise words.
