French dates codebreaker

(0)
Code given in a table and pupils must figure out what the 7 dates are from working out the code. As a challenge, pupils can translate into English. Gets pupils used to using ‘c’est le’ before the date, as well as recognising numbers and months. There is enough for two pupils per sheet as there are two copies on the sheet, so can be cut in half.

The conjugations of avoir are given at the bottom of the page for pupils to use to fill in the gaps. There are also some other bits of info missing that pupils can fill in using the picture and their knowledge. Good way to practice avoir with a familiar topic.
