Great for Student-led learning (pair or group work). At your disposal is 13 pages of conversation questions for your AS and A-Level students. The questions are thought-provoking and encourage students not only to give figures, statistics and cultural facts but also helps them improve their spontaneity. Although the questions are suitable for any Yr13 French students, they follow the Edexcel New Specs (2016) for A-Level work well with the Hodder textbook (French A-Level, including AS). TOP GRADE ESSAY PHRASES- KS5 - EASY TO USE

If you’re not sure how where to start to help your KS5 MFL students to write powerful essays, this resource is for you. How do I know this doc will boost your students’ grades for their PAPER 2? Because I scanned AQA and Edexcel best examplar’s works, I took out the best expressions of the top grade papers and organised them according the essay structure recommended by most exam boards. TASK ONE: translate the phrases from English to French + make revision cards out of each expression. TASK TWO: Re-write each phrase and add a critical thought about the work you are currently studying. YOU CAN ALSO USE THESE PHRASES FOR SPANISH AND GERMAN. (correction in French only, though). 2 pages worth of phrases (perfect quantity to maximise their use, without being overwhelmed). I personally use it with my Yr12 and Yr13 students, and both higher and weaker students benefit from it. This resource will allow you to focus on the actual critical thinking, that students need, rather than how to formulate it.
