An introduction to the idea of ultimate questions - aimed predominantly at KS3 students.

Focusing on 'what is knowledge?', types of knowledge and whether Justified True Belief is the same as knowledge.

An introduction to 'perception' and a brief overview of what is in store for Year 12s in AQA Philosophy A Level. Includes activities to do with taste, sight and illusions.

Used in conjunction with Russell's Problems of Philosophy Ch2 to briefly explain Indirect Realism as a theory, and consider what the initial problems with it may be. Activity recreating Plato's cave.

Introducing the different areas of philosophy and explaining how they link to the 2014 AQA syllabus. Ends with an introduction to Epistemology "what is real?" card sort.

Suitable for most exam board, but tailored specifically to AQA GCSE Spec A this covers an intro to the Bible, evil&suffering, the nature of God…all the way through the main beliefs and teachings to salvation and grace. There are exam questions and scaffolds in many of the PPTs - some slides can be ignored as they will be specific to groups etc. Credit to some ideas adapted from other resources.
