5 questions to start your Maths lesson each day. Most of the questions are fluency but there are hints of problem solving. Based off the Year 5 and 6 National Curriculum. Each set has 12 to 14 questions - enough for 2 a week for the half term. Would recommend proof-reading first!

Each of the statements from the National Curriculum relating to Year 5 and 6 (with Year 4 Grammar Appendix as recap) matched to the type of text it could be taught using. It’s no way perfect and I’m sure it is missing ideas but it is a good starting point when struggling to think! I hope!!
