Hi Everyone, I am Head of Year 8 at a Secondary School and created this assembly to present to my Year group. Feedback from pupil voice showed 100% of students valued the topic of the assembly as it allowed them to realise they are not alone! Assembly PowerPoint to use with either Key Stage 3 or Key Stage 4 students focusing on emotions / mental health awareness and key changes students may feel as they are growing up. Assembly includes: Inside Out 2 Trailer to gain understanding of ‘new’ emotions in student lives Definition of emotions BBC Bitesize video of coping with different emotions and learning how to regulate our emotions effectively Talks on stress, sadness, loneliness, frustration and anxiety Discussion topics on why we feel different feelings Guidance on who and what students can do to help regulate their emotions Please leave feedback below, I’d love to know what you think!
