This PowerPoint is a 6 lesson SOW that involves script analysis and character development. Within these lessons,they delve into the stories of Roald Dahl’s ‘Witches’, ‘James and the Giant Peach’, ‘Matilda’ and ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’. These lessons challenge students in crital thinking and offer space to explore different drama techniques like ‘Freeze Frames’, ‘Thought Tracks’ and ‘Direct Address’. This resource also comes with scripts that match up with the lessons.
