I am Head of PE in a secondary school in the West Midlands, and I created these 30-minute revision lessons for my after-school intervention sessions with my Year 11 students. 0–10 minutes: Quick-fire 1-mark questions (with answers to go through). 10–20 minutes: Two 2-mark questions (with answers to go through). 20–30 minutes: One challenging 4-mark question (with answers to go through). The students liked the diversity of questions, and we were able to talk through each answer to increase their understanding and improve knowledge retention.
