Having taught A Level for many years, I found the move to BTEC rather confusing and wasn’t sure what was expected from the students, especially for LAA. I decided to produce a sample answer to help me teach what was expected and show them what to aim for. This bundle includes the LAA sample answer and student guides to show them step by step how to complete all Unit 2 learning aims. Will be useful to any teachers new to the course.

This is a resource aimed at year 11-13's that can be used for an SMSC lesson or a psychology lesson. Essay on behavioural model. This has many deliberate weaknesses so that students can mark the work and state how to improve it.

This is a useful learning/reference mat for psychology students to have on their tables during lesson or displayed on class walls.

Bowlby application task provides two case studies (one harder than the other, so good for differentiation) and students must apply their knowledge of his key ideas to the case studies. The evaluation sheet provides key evaluation points for Bowlby’s theory and students must provide more information and expand on each point in order to enhance their evaluation skills.

This powerpoint can be taught as one session or split into different sessions/topics to suit the learners. It introduces the topic of mental health and focuses on discussion based around what this means, factors that can impact our mental health and how we can improve our mental health.
