Africa Scheme of work looking at physical and human geographical aspects of the continent. The scheme of work incorporates decision making exercises, exam technique and numerical skills looking at climate and rainfall data. Plenty of differentiated activities are included within all lessons, choice of tasks and stretch and challenge activities are presented throughout every lesson. 18 lessons in total and is aimed at Year 7 / Year 8. Fantastic scheme of work to get pupils engaged including a range of activities and all well presented with uniform presentation across the whole scheme of work. Two lessons looking at globalisation and containerisation. Pitched a middle ability KS3 pupils but could be adpated for high and low ability pupils. There is an opportunity for assessment at the end of the lesson to create a cartoon once pupils have analysed a range of sources to show the effects of globalisation.
