3 weeks/ 13 lessons Based on Charlie Stinky Socks and the really big adventure. The book is read a few pages at a time (clearly outlined) building up suspense and the lesson carefully planned around what they have most recently read. Starts with a WOW hook, includes use of adjectives, -ed endings, character description, narrative writing, prediction, setting description, creating their own beastie, conjunctions, question answering and writing and more.

2 week unit based upon the book The Very Last Castle. Can be used for year 1 or year 2. Includes inference, description, onomatopoeia, prediction, letter writing, job advert and more. The book is read a little bit at a time and the plan tells you where to get to to fit the lesson. We finished with a trip to a local castle and a recount additional to the two week plan.

Number bonds to 10 Children can either count just the gaps missing on the LA sheet For HA, children need to count the boxes and then the gaps to create the whole number sentence. Number bonds to 20 Children have to write the whole number sentence working it out by counting PDF and word document available
