This resource allows you to add key information about new children who are starting in your class. It is used for EYFS children but could be used for all ages. It enables you to add information from transition documents and add anythign relevant that is useful to know for all adults in your setting.

This is an 8 week unit of work for Mixed Reception/Year 1. It can be adapted for a straight Reception or Yr1/2 cohort. This can be used for Forest School planning or outdoor learning. Coverage: Main coverage is Understanding the World and Science EYFS - UtheW, CandL, PSED, EA&D, PD Year 1 National curriculum: Science (Animals including humans, Everyday Materials, Seasonal changes, Working scientifically).

This is a fantastic resource that can be used to support children before 1:1 reading. It is particularly useful for those children who are not confident readers and also for children who need that extra teaching on phonics/tricky words/key words. It develops phoneme and tricky word recognition as well as boosting confidence before they read a phonetically decodable book.
