Within this pack are three differentiated resources for the Badminton overhead clear shot. They are colour coded to Gold, Silver and Bronze level of challenge. This pack is all student lead learning with differentiated tasks, success criteria and on the reverse of each resource is a traffic light system related to Step levels. These step levels are directly related to GCSE specification. I used these resources in a recent year 9 lesson observation and they worked extremely well. Can be adapted easily or used for different year groups.

This pack includes a 40 slide power point, starter tasks, student work sheets and several independent student tasks. There is success criteria and related to the new 9-1 marking. All information comes from the Tony Scott GCSE PE textbook. I usually print the work sheets out in A3 and students complete then put them in their folders. It is for the whole of Component 2, Topic 1.3- Energy use, diet, nutrition and hydration. This should last for around 3 lessons. With several tasks and a few exam questions as well. This is a fantastic lesson used for a recent outstanding lesson observation. I taught this content over two lessons and there was easily enough for possibly three. The lesson follows a 'DR ICE' principle of teaching/ framework which ensures the lesson is engaging, challenging and student led. Included within this bundle are 5 resources: Detailed Presentation Independent Learning Mat which I printed in A3 Personal Learning Checklist Instructions for a creative task where students have to create their own antagonistic pair of muscles. (This was the best part- students loved it) This lesson went extremely well and was given outstanding feedback.
