A long term plan created based on White Rose Maths and Numberblocks. I like White Rose Maths but feel the LTP from that lacks detail and structure so I made my own using that. I have also done the Maths Hub Mastery Training and have incorporated things I learnt on that course. At the top where it says block 1 and block 2 and the dates this refers to my school as we teaching in 8 week teaching blocks rather than half terms but this plan covers 14 weeks and takes you up to Christmas. The plan cover 16 weeks but we have WOW week at the end of each bock which is off timetable that others will not have. Numbers 1-5 are covered in detail. LTP from Christmas onwards in in production and on it’s way!

Repeating Pattern IWB - A Smart Notebook document with repeating patterns for children to come to the front and finish. They start with two alternating colours and increase in difficulty up to shape and colour (15 slides included). The children just need to look at the pattern in the middle and drag the correct colour/shape from the top of the page into the pattern. Four differentiated worksheets for children to continue repeating patterns and then create their own.

Colour in the Numberblock Number four and his house which is square! Everything about it is square, the windows, the roof and even the flowers. Can you the key questions at the side about number four and his house.

Class Jobs/Monitor Posters These can be laminated then under each job (which can be edited to suit requirements) the class teacher can write the child's/children's names. Jobs included are, morning register monitor, afternoon register monitor, fruit monitor, water monitor, pen lid monitor, light monitor, tidy up monitors, messenger etc...

All the phase 2 sounds on a powerpoint (one slide per sound). Font is fine for all letters except 'l' (el). A great resource for the revisit section of phonics.

Phase 2 and 3 Sounds on Super Hero Badges and Phase 2 & 3 Tricky words on Super Hero Capes All phase 2 and 3 sounds and tricky words - following letters and sounds. Originally used for a 'super sounds' phonics display. Every time we learnt a new sound or word we added it to the display like a phonics working wall. However, could also be used for lots of other things. Great for engaging boys in phonics.

A5 Subtraction Problems - Differentiated subtraction word problems within 10, 20 and 30 (colour coded font). Ideal for small group work or on the carpet. HA Addition and Subtraction Word Problems, within 30. The problems are based upon popular children's TV and book characters. Ideal to slice and stick in books. A roll and colour dice game based on the 5 senses. Great for subitising / dice recognition and counting skills. Instructions - Roll a dice Colour the senses picture with the correct number on it. Two Players - Each player chooses a colour and takes it in turn to roll and colour. The winner is the player with the most senses pictures coloured in at the end.

Home Learning planning sheet designed for parents of Nursery Children (may also be suitable for some Reception children). The planning sheet includes 5 activities for the English/Science topic ‘Spring’ and 5 activities for the Maths Topic ‘Number 4’ this week is focusing on introducing number 4, counting to 4 and recognising 4 (see other resources for follow on activities which focus on 4’s love of squares). A resource to help children to take 5 deep breaths and calm down. Slice and laminate the top board then each little breath picture and attach using velcro. Every time the child takes a big breath they can add a picture to the board.

Letters to go in a class bears diary (I used an A5 folder) for both parents and children.
