Best differentiation - Simplifying Simple Algebraic Expressions
I designed this worksheet layout for an Ofsted visit and they praised it for differentiation.
It allows pupils to deviate from the starting questions if they find them too easy or hard.
There is an extension task for more able pupils and an opportunity for reflection at the end.
This would also be suitable for cover lessons as there are examples to follow.
This is an ideal main activity for 20 minutes of a lesson.
Works best when printed on A3 paper.
