This lesson includes a roleplay activity and includes creative writing stimulus bases on a prologue from an autobiography. The stimulus should enable pupils to empathise with the narrative voice and produce a detailed,thoughtful letter to the narrator's attacker. By giving the pupils' semantic fields to choose from, pupils will have to emulate the narrator's use of an extended metaphor to describe her strong emotions. This creative writing lesson will stretch higher pupils.
