A peer and self assessment card for students to give instant feedback on theirs or their partners jump shooting. Using the acronym BEEF, students will be able to visualise how to shoot from stationary. Fitness testing cards all with normative data to assess students or yourselves. With the student scores/results, they can then create a FUT card using the template or using www.fifarosters.com which I created my own. This is highly engaging for the gamers of your classroom and push to get the most realistic results and push to in create the best overall card. This works really well in conjunction with GCSE PEP’s or Applying Principles of Training units in OCR Sport. Using this at the start of 6 week training programmes and then can update cards in the middle and end of the training programmes.

Rock, Paper, Scissors - Fitness Workout

A simple game to engage students in a fitness lesson. Play to win, winner selects the losers exercise, the winner will do the slightly easier version of the exercise. Play for as long as you want to, depending on what you objectives are. Works really well when students learn about interval training.

Minesweeper Fitness Game

(0)
An old classic and fully interactive fitness game (works best on powerpoint). Students can take it in turns to select a tile, it will then reveal a fitness exercise and reps, which they’ll complete together. There are 5 mines in this game, the further away from a mine the less amount of reps they do. If students land on a mine = 10 burpees There is a powerpoint version (works best, when you present it), also can download as google slides version (however you’ll need students to delete the boxes manually, wothout presenting). A christmas version soon to follow.
