GCSE Christmas Quiz

(0)
This is a multi-round quiz designed for my year 11s at Christmas in order to aid revision. Rounds included are based on programmes like pointless or odd one out. My students had so much fun doing this and aided their revision so much they asked for it again in the lead up to their exams! The units included are based on the Edexcel spec - Early Elizabethan England, Superpower Relations and Crime/Punishment through Time, though could be used as a template and then add your own questions :)

History Teachers Handbook

A working document that includes lots of ideas for teaching history. The resource is divided into categories like A-level, literacy, source skills and historical skills. Each category describes the types of activities you could use and examples of there uses. There are lots of ideas here that I have built up over my career so far and I try and add new ideas when I can in order to give myself a quick reference when stuck lesson planning.

A fully developed display outlining some of the key features of the reign of Elizabeth I and Mary Queen of Scots. The display is divided into a section for each queen and then includes a timeline and images, quotes from and about the queens and some adjectives to describe them. This was created as a display piece but could be used as information on the two queens.
