An overview of all of the questions asked in the Year 6 SATs Arithmetic paper since 2017. I have broken the papers down into common questions so it is clear to see what questions are covered in the papers and how many times that area has been covered.

6 weeks worth of questions (10-a-day) that focus on areas within the Year 6 SATs arithmetic paper. Each set of questions comes with the answers for easy use. The aim of this resource is to use in Autumn 1, as the first 3 weeks focus on recapping skills from Year 5 and then these are threaded throughout the following weeks. We use these at the start of every Maths lesson throughout the year and have seen 30 marks+ in every child by SATs week, many achieving 35 marks +. It is important to work through the misconceptions with the class after every 10-a-day to address an issues.

Powerpoint and Resouces around an RE unit on Christianity, based on the question ‘Is Christianity still a strong religion 2000 years after Jesus was on Earth?’ Activities are child-led and accessible for all. The powerpoint includes 6 lessons, with resources included in the slides and clear ways children are challenged and supported. Each lesson also has a prayer prompt/session to begin the lesson, this is perfect for CofE and Catholic schools and a great start for any observed lesson.

This is a unit of work focusing on Propaganda during WW2. It gives some previous teaching of the war, as well as plenty of sources for children to explore. It comes with a full powerpoint and all of the resources you will need to teach the unit.

Year 5/6 WW2 unit based on ‘Life is a Journey’. Covers new technology, rationing, the end of the war and how the NHS was created. PPT covers all lesson and resources to match. This unit followed a unit on WW2 Propaganda where we looked at the start of the war, the Blitz, Propaganda and various battles.
