Lerning objectives covered:
Student will recognise Australian currency.
Student will order Australian currency according to their value.
LO: To divide shapes into halves.
Student can use the dotted lines on each of the shapes to assist on each shape and then on ‘Your Turn’ they can choose how to split the shape in half using a ruler. Includes fourteen 2d shapes.
Each sheet can be laminated to use again. The final sheet shows all of the shapes with the names. This can be used as a plenary.
A one month bank statement including terms used on a bank statement. Students will complete the ongoing balance taking into accounts any credits or debits. Also included is a definition sheet where students are to learn the terms used by a bank that are included on the bank monthly statement. Answer sheet is included for both tasks.
A powerpoint on nine different 2D shapes that name each shape and identify the number of sides. There is a accompanying worksheet with all nine shapes and names and numbers which can be cut out and stuck on the correct shape. They are colour coordinated. This is ideal for special needs students (as this was made for them) and students in year one or two.
Print out the dominoes, letters and numbers and laminates and students can match the numerals and words into the correct box. Great activity for KS1 or ESL

This task is aimed at special needs students or primary students. They are given one coin or note in each colum. They are to state whether they are the same or different.
Task:
Cut out the Australian coins or use real coins if you have them.
Cut out the PODD cards ‘same’ and ‘different’
Place one coin in the left colum and one coin in the right colum
Ask the student if they are the ‘same’ or ‘different’ using the cards they can point to the card either ‘same’ or
‘different’
