These are the Edexcel GCSE marks schemes sized to fit sticky labels. The prose and translation labels are for A4 sheets with 8 sticky labels per sheet. The labels for the 90 word writing task and the Foundation picture description fit 4 per sheet. I am using A4 sheets with 2 sticky labels on them and then once the 4 are printed on, cutting them in half. Underline the appropriate descriptor and then write a quick ebi comment and cut down on marking time.

This goes with Studio 9-1, Module 1, Qui suis-je? and has been written for a mixed ability year 9 class doing 3 year GCSE. It recaps simple physical description in the context of describing a picture. It practices il y a un homme/une femme etc and hair/eye colour and clothing. These are recapped without much detail because we studied these at the end of year 8. There is a snakes and ladders game to practice the vocab covered and at the end a picture task as per the Edexcel foundation paper.

Board game that practices possible prompts etc for the first topic (Qui suis-je?) in the new Edexcel Studio book. Also 2 role plays I have created with teacher parts. I gave half the class role play A and the teacher part for role play B, the other half B and teacher part A and then paired them up meaning that the unexpected question was totally unexpected.
