This is a full lesson (PowerPoint, individual LOs for students to stick in their books, main activity, worksheets, extension) on solving simultaneous equations graphically. A lesson plan is attached to give you an idea on how I used it but feel free to use it as you wish. Requires knowledge of plotting straight line graphs and solving simultaneous equations. The main activity is a card match that I have adapted from resources found on Mr Barton Maths at http://mrbartonmaths.com/topics/solving-equations/solving-simultaneous-equations/worksheets.html Feedback would be much appreciated. Enjoy!

This started as a teaching prompt to prepare my year 10 set 2 for a end of year mock and it was based on topics we hadn't studied yet. I found I could teach them the content and go through an example and then get them try a question in about 20 minutes - that is 3 new topics in a 60 minute lesson. I printed the PowerPoints as handouts and got the students to work on them. You can of course use them as you see fit. Feedback would be much appreciated! Enjoy :)

This is a lesson I used with a top set year 10 class to quickly move through the bulk of percentage work. It has the PPT, objectives ready to print, a PowerPoint companion worksheet (though they need to see the PPT to get the info to solve the questions) and an exit ticket. Use as you see fit :) Enjoy :) Any feedback would be much appreciated.
