Sequences - Is this number in the sequence

(5)
Focused resource on the new form of question that requires the pupils to find the nth term and then have to say whether a number does or doesn’t appear in the sequence. Sheet is differentiated to start with simple sequences that pupils can just state by odd/even or whether it is in the 5 times table. It is then developed to use solving equations to prove. With the final few sequences being descending. Answers are attached and are hopefully all correct.

GCSE Statistics - Comparative Pie Charts (Intro lesson worksheet with answers)

To introduce the concept of comparative Pie Charts, I wanted to introduce the concept of linking the radius to the frequency, before they had to attempt exam style questions. The worksheet gets them to find the radius first and then the missing frequency (be careful as they forget to square the radius). There is also a blank column either side so they can work out the area of each pie chart (in my lesson i added this task once they had done the radius and frequency, but it can be added beforehand)
