PowerPoint and worksheets for two lessons based around ‘What makes a sentence’. Lessons were implemented as a response to the writing framework released in July 2025. The lessons aim to teach children that all sentences need a subject and a verb to make sense and this is also taught in the language and colours of colourful semantics. The resources were created for a Y3/4 mixed age class.
