AQA Exam Practice task- write a letter to a celebrity persuading them to attend a fundraising event

The starter activity is a techniques matching activity but I'm afraid I no longer have the original. You can use the technique stable to create your own though.

First lesson on Browning's The Laboratory

Focus on sentences.

Used in the build-up to chapter 14 (Warden's introduction). Useful for creating notes ready for an essay later in the term.

Uses the opening of Falling Down film to teach pupils about structuring and linking their writing
