I've made these checklists to allow students to identify areas they are happy with or need to improve on when they come to revise. They are based on the new 2011 spec for AQA. I have used them at the end of topics to prepare for tests and they've also been very useful to identify areas classes are unsure about so I can prepare personalised revision lessons in time for their exams.

This resource is designed to help lower abilities summarise the evolution of the earth's atmosphere. The link enclosed is a youtube video from myGCSEscience, which I have just discovered as being an AMAZING resource (big thanks to those creators!) The students watch the video and fill in the spaces on the storyboard to summarise what is happening to the gases. They then draw pictures to show what is happening at each stage. This resource could be made more difficult by removing parts, or easier by creating cloze exercises in each box.

Inspired by other TES users, I have created an updated facebook template for use in lessons. This update includes the timeline format so pupils can still feel like they are creating 'real&' facebook pages. Please leave feedback so I can adapt if any issues arise.
