I couldn't find anything useful for my Year 4 class, I wanted them to practise their written methods for HA but the others all needed adding up and giving change.

Read the passage and then work through the question prompts with a group. The pupils have their own recording sheet, as you read the passage together and look for the answers within. This activity begins to look at inference and why something is written the way that it is as well as retrieval from the text.

I have never taught Y6 before and the SPAG test is quite scary. As it so hard there are very little materials out there to assess and prepare the children. So I have take the test, with all the repeated types of questions and am over time, changing each question for all of the possible options on the SPAG curriculum. Here is my first set of slides and I will upload as I do them. I am so SPAG genius so there may be mistakes so please correct.
