I created this resource to raise my students’ awareness of fast foods and their contents. I used this resource in my maths lessons but it could be used for healthy eating, discussions, health and social care and many more. In my maths lessons, students learned the daily recommended allowances and how companies can confuse us with labels as well as writing maths questions at their differentiated levels. The students wrote different maths questions ranging from basic addition to complex percentages and averages. They were required to give feedback on each other’s questions too.

I've created this resource for my mixed level Functional Skills maths classes. The idea is that the differentiated resources reflect similar outcomes and students at entry level can take part in a percentages class. The aim for the Entry level students is to link the percentage with the fraction and calculate the saving based on their fractions knowledge. The aim for the Level 1 and Level 2 students is to calculate the percentage amount and saving, giving the discounted price.
