‘I am Roo, Who are you?’ is the start of a series of resources/books that follow the story of Roo as he tries to make sense of the world, whilst at the same time, learning about how things that other people think make him different make him uniquely and beautifully him.
This has been written to support children and young people in starting conversations about things about them. It can be used as whole group reading, or on a one-one basis.
‘All About Me’ activity included as a framework for starting conversations about what really matters to young people.
A starter activity for students to get them to think about calculations. The Maths contained can be altered to suit the student group. I have used this with KS3/4 Maths students with a high level of SEN as way to sequence calculations.
Students need to complete the puzzle, and add the answer to the calculation in the blank square.
