This is a powerpoint designed to give students an overview of how the moon visibly changes during one lunar cycle, how the moon influences the tides on earth, and the reason for season changes. Please note that the video attactment needs to be downloaded and then imbedded into the 2nd page of the powerpoint, which gives you an animation of the system being looked at. Lastly, the seasonal information is for the southern hemisphere, you will need to change it if you live in the northern hemispere.

This is intended to be used as an introduction to cell types and the organelles that they may contain. It could also be used as a refresher for older students. At the end is a link to an online orgnelles game that can be used either individually or as a class quiz.
