This resource is an engaging game in which pupils use dice to create a percentage, then represent it as a drawing, a fraction (which they may be able to simplify) and a decimal. They do all of this on a card, and then place the card on a number line to end their go. This game is for pairs or threes, and the winner is the player who has the most of their colour cards in an unbroken row. The competitive element keeps pupils engaged while practicing converting between percentages, fractions and decimals. The resource includes a PowerPoint with teacher notes and diagrams to introduce the activity and the concept.

Introduce your Year 6 class to Pie Charts using this straightforward Powerpoint presentation and accompanying differentiated activity.
