This is an interactive game to develop the children's ability to create sentences. You can choose either from nouns, simple adjectives or harder adjectives. Choose a word and ask the children to create a sentence with that word. You could also pick two or more words and make sentences from those.

This is a spreadsheet that will help you analyse how your children are progressing with the grammar and punctuation aspects of the SPAG test for Year 2/KS1. You can see how each group in your class are doing as well as the whole class. This will provide a total score for each child and a percentage of the group or class who have achieved each objective. Use this as a baseline at the beginning of the year, and then add to the data at different points to see how they are progressing and which elements of the curriculum still need work.
