Students need to choose the best word to fit the gap by looking at the picture, listening to the teacher and conversing with a peer. Grammar notes are also included. This is a short video that uses modal verbs to discuss ways in which we can stay healthy. It includes vocabulary for modals, food, drink and exercise as well as introducing how we talk about amounts. The audio is clear and slow with a script that appears as the words are spoken so that students can read along with the video. I have made accompanying worksheets which highlight and reuse the vocabulary and grammar from this video (also available for download).

This worksheet accompanies my video 'Nice to Meet You', which is available for download. A video script is included in the worksheet so it can still be completed without video access. Students need to listen to and comprehend a short text introducing 'Tim' and includes; age, nationality, hair and eye colour, likes and talents. Other worksheets are available on the topic also.

This is a worksheet that explains what irrelevant sentences are and then follows with an informative text about Sadako Sasaki (the Japanese girl who made 1,000 paper cranes) in which there is an irrelevant sentence, in each paragraph, that the students need to delete. There is no answer sheet as the answers should be obvious, if not students will be able to discuss among themselves.
