This is two different lessons and provides an introduction into what Geogrpahy is for Year 7 students. The lessons include a DO NOW starter tasks, key words and plenary. All resources are on the PowerPoint and there is no use of the textbook for this lesson. The PowerPoint is easy to navigate, well organised and appealing design. It is also has the possibility of being adapted further for both SEND and HPA. The first lesson focuses on the subject of geography and the three main types of geography. There is a range of tasks for students to complete throughout the lesson to enable them to understand what the three main types are. The second lesson focuses on the skill of asking questions in Geography. Students take a look at different locations and ask key questions of each area. Each location has been selected to reflect one key area of Geography; Natural disasters, Globalisation, Urbanisation, climate change and poverty.
