This is a set of 7 homework tasks to support the teaching and completion of Component 1 of the BTEC TECH Award in Creative Media Production. It has been tailored for some tasks to the set theme for this assessment window which is ‘historical issues/events’. They are two simple tasks per week that are varied to keep students engaged. All videos are linked but I have added in the notes what the clips are so they can be found easily on Youtube and re-embedded in case the links I have used do not work.

OCR New A Level Media Studies Spec Here we have quite an information heavy powerpoint focusing on The Jungle Book - 2016 and 1967 versions. The powerpoint is far from perfect - but if it can save someone else from the trauma of tralling the internet for information - I will be happy! It has some assessment questions in there, with one big assessment essay at the end - you will find an essay plan help sheet to go with this in the bundle. You also have a marketing strategies handout and a production timeline handout. I hope it can be of some help!

A3 revision sheets for Unit 1 - one sheet per learning objective. Nice visual resource for students to put up on their walls at home. Tested and they went down a storm!

Cambridge Technicals Level 3 in Digital Media. I use the case studies of Wicked (2024) and The Boy in the Striped Pajamas (2008) to compare conglomerate and independent ownership. These knowledge organisers will help students with exactly what they need to know to revise for their Unit 1 exam for LO1.
