Year 7 Drama: The Haunted Lift SOW This is a 6 lesson SOW. KS3 Drama The Woman In Black SOW A wonderful SOW taking students through the story of this play. This would go brilliantly in a half term where a trip is planned, but doesn’t need to be the case. This can be taught by a drama specialist or non-specialist. Skills included are: Plot Back story Non-verbal communication Characterisation and an assessment lesson is included too. Scripted Drama SOW- over 70 slides This is a full SOW taking students through the script The Stones. KS3 The Tempest SOW An active, physical SOW that will have your students really embodying Shakespeare’s The Tempest. This is a 6 lesson SOW and can be taught by specialists or non-specialists. Skills inlclude: Exploring the storm Physical Theatre Soundscapes Freeze frame montage Plot and structure Status Mask work +Assessment Please not that you will need a copy of The tempest for the assessment lesson and there is also an extra lesson on mask work but this can be removed if you don’t have access to plain white masks. GCSE DRAMA PRACTITIONERS AND PERFORMANCE SKILLS Everything you need to start off your Drama GCSE Cohort in September. This will take you all the way until Christmas or even further, developing student skills of practitioners, styles, theatre conventions and get them ready, body and mind to take on Devising! This SOW includes practitioners such as Artaud Stanislavski Lecoq and many more! As well as looking Frantic Assembly & National theatre choreography. Not to forget sound and lighting! These slides are made for you to have all the content in one place but also gives flexibility to personalise to you and your school.
