This set of three lessons looks at two seperate but easily comparable love poems- Rejection and Declaration of Intent. The third lesson then focuses on a comparison of these two poems. These lessons are fully differentiated but aimed towards a higher ability group. They have been used as part of a ks3 module and also with a GCSE class as unseen poetry revision.

A lesson on Checking Out Me History. The lesson cultimates in a task which requires independent analysis of the poem with a differentiated work sheet with prompt questions to enable students to analyse language and structure.
