This ice breaker is for pupils who have just begun secondary school and allows them to mix with their new classmates, learning their names while developing their social and communication skills.

This is a very simple activity which aims to get pupils to mix with one another, learning a little bit about one another as well as beginning to learn one another’s names. It is particularly good for pupils for are beginning secondary school as this type of activity will encourage them to mix with other members of the class and begin to form friendship groups.

i have created this resource to be used with the GCSE Spanish specification for 2026. it contains a Reading text with 6 activities based around the text, such as finding the phrase, comprehension questions, true or false.and the vocabulary and structures aim to reinforce vocabulary related to technology and social media and discuss the advantages and disadvantages of technology/social media.
