I created this lesson to use with my SEMH students at the beginning of a Shakespeare scheme of work and before a trip to Stratford Upon Avon.
This includes:
A Power Point with a video
Task board
Question sheet for the short video
Short discussion slide at the end to look at words/phrases from Shakespeare that we still use today.
A task for students learning at EL3-FS1, looking at writing a blog titled: The lion King - A modern day Hamlet?
Pupils watch a short video from YouTube discussing the similarities and differences and then create a blog on their ideas and opinions. The worksheet is scaffolded with a planning the blog section with a set structure and then a writing section with sentence starters. This also includes a task board.
This was designed to help my Post 16 SEMH students, in preperation for writing a blog in their Step up to Gold exams.
Hi, Here is my planning for KS1-2 English that I use for Autumn 1. I’m sure it can be adapted to suit your students needs and abilities.
This includes Learning objectives activities and resources checklists.
I have included a few worksheets also that I have created but the other resources needed are fairly generic.
I hope your students love it and create fantastic pieces of work, just like mine :)
Created this powerpoint for a research task in Asdan Animal care.
All students were engaged, enjoyed the clip and video and produced fantastic powerpoints and fact files for their Asdan evidence folders.
A fun quiz when starting a new crime and punishment topic to get the students engaged and interested. I have created a 15 question Powerpoint and the answers are on the last slide.
