These sheets have been created to provide feedback to students completing the writing part of the exam (paper 4). It has been adjusted according to the new specification. The Higher and Foundation are slightly different due to the way the exams are structured.
This sheet can be used as a crib sheet or script when conducting the Modern Foreign Languages Speaking exams. Can be used for French, Spanish or German. You can also edit the sheet after downloading to make any adjustments. Specifies the recommended time and transitions in the target language. This sheet is specifically for the AQA GCSE Speaking Exam Paper 2, according to the New Specification 2025.
Trapdoor: Un week-end à Paris (Dynamo 1, M5 U4)
Objective: To practice reading and speaking fluency by navigating a short story using the near future tense and weather conditions.
How to play:
Student A (The Gatekeeper): Secretly choose one option from each bracket below to create your “hidden path.” Circle them on your sheet.
Student B (The Traveler): Read the paragraph aloud. When you reach a bracket [ … ], choose one of the three options.
The Trap: If Student B chooses the option Student A circled, Student A says “Oui!” and Student B continues to the next bracket. If Student B picks the wrong option, Student A shouts “LA TRAPPE!”.
The Reset: Student B must start again from the very beginning of the paragraph.
