This is a reading text of a fairy tale I adapted from the video La Bruxa by Pedro Solis. Students find examples of imperfect/preterite tenses and fill in the grid of vocabulary (they need to find the Spanish from the text). At the end they need to translate bits of the tale to match it with the pictures of the PP. This is a double lesson so 100 minutes. If you have spare time, students could find examples of time phrases or other tenses. They could use the tale to write their own.

Created for Y7 but equality adaptable for other years. The lesson follows Gianfranco Contti’s EPI style and consists of sentence builder and activities. The lesson also has been planed with the New GCSE in mind and has a dictation activity and speaking/reading out activity.

54 cards divided into 9 different categories: food, emotions, furniture, clothes, food, drinks, electric items, vegetables and celebrations. End of year activity with some many possibilities. apart from the game students can organize the vocabulary into categories, add and design their own ones… Great for both KS3 and KS4.
