Unit of work for Dracula including 11 lessons in the format of powerpoints. These included notes for summarising and analysing key elements in chapters, gothic literature conventions and acitivites to enhance student skills in analysing and writing responses for Dracula. The lessons are designed to suit a class length of 75 minutes for senior students so can be broken down and adapted for shorter lessons or for a younger year level. The unit of work also includes all resources required to supplement the 11 lessons such as question and answer sheets, excerpts from the novel for students to practice analysis, a worksheet with explicit instruction on how to nitegrate quotes into a paragraph, a wordsearch for a brain break activity and three essay style practice questions with scaffolding for analysis.
