Four Component 3 Question 6 Practice Questions with worked answers. I have written 4 new component 3 Q6 questions based on the template of previous years. In this resource I provide the full text of the previous questions from this exam from 2018 to 2023 and give a suggested method of answering the question based on examiner’s reports. The four questions I have written are based on Drum machines, Synthesisers, Delay effects and Digital Reverb. The booklet is 28 pages and is a thorough resource to help students prepare for their exam. Preparing for Numeracy Questions in Music Technology Edexcel A level. (Part 2) This detailed resource follows on from part one and includes: -10 new sets of practice questions -10 new sets of worked answers In total 66 new questions. All with worked answers. The questions in part 2 are mostly possible without a calculator, just as required in the exam. (there are one or two questions in Part 2 where a calculator may be needed for students who are out of practice in their multiplication skills. When this is the case, it is clearly indicated in the question. I have included these questions to help students to understand concepts using real world figures (e.g. 16 and 24 bit audio files, 44.1kHz, 48kHz sample rates etc.) **-A 50 slide Powerpoint presentation (same presentation as comes with Part 1) The 10 sets of practice questions are designed to build students skills and confidence. These pdf ‘posters’ summarise the suggested approaches for the extended response questions in the Edexcel A level in Music Technology. They include tips specifically for Questions 5 and 6 in paper 3 and Question 6 in paper 4. I have found them a very useful resource in lessons as a starting point for revision before attempting practice questions. They can also be printed and put up in the music tech classroom.
