ESOL / SEN Storytelling - Football Match

(0)
Practice literacy and oracy skills with this fun football storytelling game. Improve basic maths skills, speech and language and build confidence. This game has been designed with ESOL / SEN students in mind and can be played 1 to 1 and in small groups. With small groups players can be on the same team or they can play against each other. Each player gets a turn and on their turn they get to decide what they want to do - they can do absolutely anything their imagination allows as long as the dice roll allows them to do so. Even if that’s standing in place doing a backflip for no good reason. Building language skills, promoting literacy and oracy in a non-pressurised way. Students learn about basic maths skills and probability in a fun way. This resource is excellent for students who love football but are low in confidence when speaking. This can be used alongside the Football Transfer Drama resource. If your student/s enjoy the game they can play it again and again. Just change the starting scenario. Do they want to set up 5aside storytelling league in the class?
