Phonics Sound Mats – Reception, Year 1 & Year 2 | Grouped Sounds for Writing (2 per A4)

(0)
I created these phonics sound mats because I found it difficult to find resources suitable for children who are beginning to write. Many sound mats include so many sounds that they can feel overwhelming for early writers. These mats group the main sounds and spelling patterns together, making it easier for children to find the sounds they need when writing. Features: Sounds and spelling patterns grouped together for easy reference. Designed to help children apply their phonics knowledge when writing. Two sound mats per A4 page to reduce printing costs. Suitable for Reception, Year 1 and Year 2, depending on children’s phonics knowledge. Useful for writing tables, independent writing and additional phonics support. A simple and practical resource to help children become more confident using phonics in their writing.
